Good homeopathy is a wellness program. Suitable for adults and children, homeopathy is effective for acute, chronic and preventative health care situations. Homeopathy is a holistic system that is safe, gentle and effective. It stimulates the client’s vitality to address the cause of the symptoms in order to regain good health as well as freedom from limitations. It is not unusual for the user of homeopathy to obtain a better sense of well-being and to have more energy.
During the first appointment that lasts about two hours, the client describes his/her current problems and medical history in an individual way, and the composite is the basis for the homeopathic prescription. Follow-up appointments of shorter duration may be necessary every four to six weeks, to unwind health problems in time.
Homeopathic remedies come from nature. The Law of Similars works as nature does: as a set fire may contain a raging forest fire, so a remedy that may cause certain symptoms may also resolve similar symptoms.
"Those who merely study and treat the effects of disease are like those who imagine they can drive away the winter by brushing the snow from the door. It is not the snow that causes winter, but the winter that causes the snow." - Paracelsus, a 16th century philosopher and physician
What is Classical Homeopathy?
- It is based on the Law of Similars: that which makes sick shall heal
- It is based on the individual’s totality of symptoms
- It is based on classical analysis of those symptoms
- It uses one remedy at a time
- It uses a minimum dose
Homeopathic Remedies:
- Are natural substances
- Are highly diluted: less is more
- Are potentized: repeatedly diluted and succussed (shaken)
- Energizes the individual’s life force to heal the whole person

"After strugging for some time with the daily side effects of my prescription medication, I was ready for a change. Margaret was patient and thorough as she explained homeopathy as a possible treatment. After careful consideration, I gave it a try. I have been a client of Margaret's for several years now with amazing success. Her treatments are personalized to my body and whatever may be going on at that time. Homeopathy is definitely not "one size fits all" prescribing! Margaret's knowledge and professionalism make me feel very safe in her care." - A.S.
